We believe that there is never-ending room for growth in ceramics, and we welcome everyone from beginners to occasional hobbyists and experienced potters to be part of our community. |
The studio is operated by professional ceramic artist, Jake Johnson. Jake is an accomplished potter who works out of Make Waynesboro Clay Studio, as well as at a small home studio. He sells his work through art fairs, galleries, and an online shop. Jake has been working in ceramics since 2000. He earned an MFA in ceramics from Penn State, a top-ten clay program, and he has taught university classes and workshops. His work is in galleries and collections across the country, and has been included in more than 50 juried and invitational exhibitions. He has been featured in Clay Times, the Lark Books 500 series, and Virginia Living. Visit jakesclayart.com to learn more about Jake's work, see a list of fairs and galleries, or make a purchase.
